About Inside Lisbon

  • Admire the Tagus river bay while crossing the Ponte Vasco da Gama. With 17km it’s one of the longest one in Europe. Our first stop will be at the Castle of Palmela, where after enjoying the views in all directions, we can ascend the castle tower for an amazing photo opportunity.
  • Drive through the Arrabida wine region, passing many vineyards, cork and olive trees. Visit a beautiful local family-owned vineyard in the heart of the Arrábida park, where it is time to relax and taste some wines. In one of the most beautiful scenic drives in Portugal, you’ll have a great chance to take spectacular photos from the highest point of the Arrábida Natural Park (500m peak) with breathtaking views over the Atlantic Ocean and the Portinho da Arrábida beach.
  • Then it’s time for lunch at the picturesque fishing village of Sesimbra, where there is also time to relax on the beach before continuing the tour. Enjoy two wine tastings (Moscatel and Red wine), on a guided tour of one of the oldest and most well-known wine cellar in the village of Azeitão, still belonging to the same family that started it all in the early 1800s.
  • Last, but not least, we will stop at Cristo Rei (inspired by Rio de Janeiro’s statue of Cristo Redentor) for great views over Lisbon and the river Tejo, and then return to the city taking the 25th of April Bridge.
