Rate & Cancellation policy
1. Payment
Please be aware that we only accept Mastercard, Visa, Google pay, Apple pay for our bookings. If you have a standard rate or a walk-in reservation and you wish to pay by cash, please note that we only accept currency.
2. Cancellation Policy
2-1) Flexible Rate: If you cancel or amend your reservation up to 48 hours in advance of your arrival date by 2 pm, you wont get charged. Failure to cancel within this time will result in a cancellation charge equal to the first night of your stay.
2-2) Not Refundable Rate: The total amount of the reservation may be charged any time after booking. If canceled, modified or in case of a no-show, you wont be able to get a refund.
2-3) Preauthorization : OstelloBello reserves the right to verify the validity of the credit card prior to arrival by pre-authorizing the full amount for all rates as a guarantee in case of late cancellation or no show. In case of a failed result, you need to update your credit card within 24 hours, on the other hand, your reservation could be canceled.
*In order to modify/cancel your reservation you must contact us by email. If you dont inform us of anything we will cancel your reservation at 12:00 one day after the arrival date.
3. Force Majeure
In the event of Force Majeure (governmental action, transportation interruption, terrorist attack, pandemics, alien invasion) affecting your booking, Ostello Bello is unable to refund customers and we reserve the right to receive any outstanding payments in connection to your confirmed booking.
4. Receipts and Invoices
If youre an Italian guest/group and need an invoice(Fattura), you must request it at the time of your reservation. For every other guest : upon request, we can provide receipts for proof of payment of your stay.
5. City Tax
Prices published online include Italian VAT but do not include the City Tax, which varies depending on the municipality. You will be asked to pay this tax at the check-in.
Guest Policy
1. Identification
Make sure to bring valid identification with you, preferably a passport, government-issued I.D. card, or your driving license (only for our Italian guests). If you forget your documents, we wont be able to check you in.
2. Age Restrictions
If youre under 18 we will accept your booking only if youll attach and bring with you a signed Authorization of one of your parents or a person who acts in their stand. Guests who wish to bring their children under 10 years of age must book a whole dorm or private room.
3. Room allocation
If youre traveling with friends or family, well do our utmost to book you in a room together but this cant always be guaranteed. If you want to make sure that you arent separated from your group, wed suggest booking a private room or taking over a whole dorm.
4. Discretion
All bookings are subject to availability and Ostello Bello reserves the right to decline any booking at its discretion.
5. Damage to Ostello Bellos Property
Guests will be expected to reimburse Ostello Bello for any damage caused by inappropriate behavior during their stay.
6. Guest Behavior
First and foremost, Ostello Bello wont allow any racist, misogynist, transphobic, homophobic or violent attitude. We live under the same roof and everyone should feel safe, respected and loved for who they are.
Guests are expected to respect other guests as well as staff, local residents and property. Any guest(s) who, in the opinion of our staff, compromise the comfort, safety or security of other guests, staff or local residents will be asked to leave the hostel premises and will not be given a refund.
7. Personal Property
It is a guests responsibility to ensure that personal belongings are secure at all times. Upon request, we will provide you with a padlock to store your values in the personal locker youll find in the dorms. Ostello Bello accepts no liability for the loss, theft or damage to guests property, however, sustained or caused.
8. Alcohol consumption
We will not serve alcohol to anyone under the age of 18. At our staff discretion, we can choose to stop serving you alcohol if we realize its time for you to stop drinking.
9. Pets
Your pet will be very welcome to stay with you if you book a private room. Pets are not allowed in dorms. If you have a guide-dog please contact us.
